New Delhi, 12th August, 2011: Symbolizing aspirations of millions of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), ET NOW-IndiaMART Leaders of Tomorrow Awards 2011, a joint initiative of IndiaMART.com and ET NOW, are close to support leadership within this community yet again. The Awards have received a huge response from all quarters with nominations standing at over 30000 so far. The race to make it big through these Awards gets fierce as the last date for registration, August 31, 2011, inches closer. The critical task of screening all the nominations will rest on Ernst & Young, which is the process validation partner for the Awards. It is set to begin the selection process from September 2011.
Commenting on such a remarkable response to the Awards, Mr. Dinesh Agarwal, Founder & CEO, IndiaMART.com, said, “We are driven by our commitment to serve interests of MSMEs and Leaders of Tomorrow Awards are a reflection of the same. I am delighted to see the response towards these Awards from across the country and am sure that this last leg for registration will see MSMEs come forward actively and nominate their companies.”
“Small and Medium organizations with their enterprise, innovation and resilience have become the true growth agents of India. We are delighted with the overwhelming response to the “Leaders of Tomorrow Awards” entries and are confident that many others would be nominating themselves before the closing date,” said Mr. Sunil Lulla, Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer, Times Television Network.
So far, MSMEs from cities such as Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and Coimbatore, et al have shown much enthusiasm to nominate for IndiaMART Leaders of Tomorrow Awards 2011. In recognition of their achievement, a certificate of participation will be presented to the nominees who registered for the Awards.
ET NOW has been highlighting growth stories of unknown MSMEs, which have nominated for the Awards, in the show Leaders of Tomorrow. It continues to successfully showcase entrepreneurial successes from several clusters such as Hyderabad, Jaipur, Bangalore, Surat, Ahmedabad, Tirupur, Ludhiana, Delhi/NCR, Kolkata, among others. This clearly shows the immense reach, from north to south and east to west, that the Awards have been able to achieve.
Number of nominations continues to rise as the last date August 31 nears. MSMEs which have yet not registered for the Awards, can file in their nominations at leaders.economictimes.com. After nominations close, Ernst & Young will shortlist the nominees and share the list with the Jury for final selection in 13 different categories.
