A new dawn for dreams: IndiaMART’s efforts in Sahabapur Mahipal transformed the way students study

Somewhere in the streets of Fakharpur in the Bahraich district, a change unfolded in the walls of the Upper Primary School. The school, once lacking basic walls and roofs, is now a vibrant hub of learning and hope for over 150 students, due to IndiaMART’s transformative efforts over the past year.

Not long ago, the school building was crumbling, making it entirely unfit for education. But the spirit of learning never faltered. Instead, teachers moved the lessons outdoors under the open sky, beneath the shade of a tree. That tree still stands today, not as a reminder of past struggles, but as a witness to the remarkable transformation that has taken place in the school.

Beyond mere donations, IndiaMART stepped up and promised to make a difference that encourages students to enter the premises and study with passion. The school has four sturdy new classrooms, echoing with the joyful sounds of active learning, a well-equipped office with administrative energy, a totally revamped kitchen for nourishing meals, and three new hygienic washrooms, ensuring dignity and health for every child.
