Delhi Metro rolls out first fully ad-wrapped train

Delhi Metro rolled out its first fully advertisement-wrapped train on the Yellow Line route spanning Jahangirpuri to HUDA City Centre on December 18.

The metro train wrap, rolled out by e-commerce firm ‘IndiaMART’, featured Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan as its brand ambassador, reports Economic Times.

Earlier, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) had inducted the first-ever train with advertisements wrapped on its exterior on Dwarka-Vaishali route of Blue Line that is Line 3/4.

Approximately 15 such trains will be inducted, initially with seven trains on Line 2 from Jahangirpuri – HUDA City Centre and eight trains on Line 3/4 which are the busiest lines of the metro network.
