Ltd. was thrilled to join the firm, started by his Uncle decades ago, “We are in this business from the last 30 years. This company was started by my Uncle Mr. A C Dua in 1983 and I joined this company in 1984.”
Story of Expansion
Harrisons Pharmaceutical Machinery Pvt. Ltd. did not initially start with the idea to manufacture for a wide-scale retailers. Instead, the actual plan was to cater only to the pharmaceutical industry. “In initial days of our business, we used to manufacture machinery only for pharmaceutical industry but now with so much of growth and expansion of our business in the industry, we started manufacturing, laboratory equipment, cosmetic machinery, machinery for Ayurvedic, herbal medicines,” shares Mr. Ahuja.
Today, as the leading pharmaceutical manufacturer, Mr. Ahuja takes great pride in his firm. “We are pleased to introduce ourselves as the leading manufacturer of Harrisons make of pharmaceutical machinery and equipment for allopathic, ayurvedic, homeopathic and herbal section, for tablet, liquid, capsules, dry syrup, ointments, injectible and equipment for their quality control laboratory,” he says.

They see increase in sales by 30-40%. Now we are associating with the top most pharmaceutical companies in the industry such as Ranbaxy, Zydus Cadilla, Landmark, Dabur, Patanjali, Baidyanath and many more,” he confides.
