IndiaMART.com pushes for cohesive SME ecosystem

SMALL AND Medium Enterprises (SMEs) have been playing a vital role in growth and development of Indian economy. They are credited with generating million of job opportunities every year along with contributing a fair share to the industrial output and exports. With a view to provide these quintessential stakeholders of the Indian economy assistance in their growth, IndiaMART.com has associated with Smallenterpriseindia.com for a ‘SME Learning Series’. This series aims to provide an interactive platform for SMEs while educating them about several solutions for seamless business functions.

The larger aim of the series is to enable SMEs to innovate and grow. The series, based on the theme ‘Educate, Innovate and Grow’, has roadshows structured across 10 cities in India—metros, tier 2 and tier 3 cities. The SME Learning Series is well into Phase 1 of the roadshow. It has already covered two cities, Bangalore and Vadodara that proved to be hugely success. Going forward from here, it is expecting to emulate the same success in the remaining cities of Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad and Coimbatore.
