IndiaMart claims to add 5000 new tendering opportunities on Tenders.IndiaMart.com everyday

Online B2B marketplace IndiaMart.com has said that the company’s online tender information platform Tenders.IndiaMart.com has become the largest database of Indian tenders with over 5000 new tendering opportunities being added everyday and one million tenders addition happening every year. According to the company, the platform now provides access to about one lakh live tenders for free. The platform was launched in November 2009.

Dinesh Agarwal, founder and CEO, IndiaMart.com, said, “We meet a critical market need for tenders by providing extensive base of information on all kinds of tenders for free. The magnitude of success that we have been able to achieve in the past few years is definitive proof of our ability to deliver a solution that fulfils the requirements of the demand from all quarters of the market.”

In March 2010, IndiaMart had launched state-wise tenders list to simplify search procedure of local tenders for state-level SMEs (small and medium enterprises) and help the SME community cut down the time element, an important factor in tender processing.
