IndiaMART.com Pushes Industrial Hardware in Branded Exposition

To showcase its new range of hardware products, IndiaMART.com recently organized an exhibition in Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai, in collaboration with Unitech Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd and NSIC. It was the eighth edition of IndiaMART Hardware and Tools Expo 2009 and IndiaMART Fastener Expo 2009, a niche event for hardware, tools and fasteners in India.

Almost 128 companies exhibited at the gala expo, out of which 52 companies were from China and 12 from Taiwan and rest from India. A wide array of products were on display ranging from hand tools, air/pneumatic hand tools, power tools, fasteners, furniture hardware, hydraulic hand tools, automotive/garage tools, gardening tools, electrician’s tools, locks and keys, rollers, tape measures, rust prevention/lubricating aerosols, adhesives and sealants etc.

Close to 5000 business visitors from various demographies like exporters and importers, distributors, traders and retailers, industry suppliers, builders, contractors, automotive industry personnels , engineering industry personnels , furniture manufacturers, architects , re-molders , interior designers, etc. attended the expo. The expo was aimed to provide a platform to buyers and suppliers to explore better opportunities.

Commenting on the expo, Dinesh Agarwal, founder and CEO, IndiaMART said: “Tradeshows are the oldest and one of the most effective mediums for B2B match-making . We are extremely happy to associate as the expo is very well recognised in the industry for bringing latest products, technologies and innovation to the forefront and as the platform that fosters long term relationship between buyers and suppliers.”

India’s industrial output rose to the level of 10.3 percent in October 2009 from the year earlier, matching the median market forecast, helped by stimulus measures and robust domestic demand, which reflected in enthusiasm of visitors who were inquiring about different hardware tools and fasteners products. Industrial fasteners, hand tools for automotive and industrial hand tools for heavy machinery were claimed to be in high demand.

The exhibition was said to be a part of IndiaMART’s continuous efforts and commitment to bring buyers and suppliers together under one roof to discuss the level of satisfaction with the current products and what more needs to be done for future demands.

Understanding the need for interaction between buyers and suppliers, IndiaMART boasts to have sponsored various industry trade shows for the past two years like IndiaMART AMTEX, IndiaMART UMEX, IndiaMART IMEX, IndiaMART Sign Show, IndiaMART Food & Technology Expo, IndiaMART ACMEE, IndiaMART HITEX Interna tional Machine Tool Expo 2009 etc.The ninth edition of IndiaMART Hardware and Tools Expo and IndiaMART Fastener Expo are also in a row to benefit MSMEs. It is scheduled at the end of this year at Chennai Trade Centre.
