10 April, 2002: To seek information on the latest tender-invitation notices from Indian corporates, governments or global companies, you now simply need to logon to http://tenders.IndiaMART.com/. IndiaMART.com, India’s largest online B2B marketplace on completion of its sixth successful year of operation, has launched its online tender notification service. Interested parties have an option of subscribing to either of the two available modes to view tenders in detail – ‘Tenders-on-Web’, or ‘Tenders-via-Email’.

“Our tender notification service keeps the subscribers updated on the tender-invitations issued by the Government of India, state governments, and public and private sector organizations (both Indian and international) classified under various industry segments. So even if you miss out on any relevant tender notification, Indiantendersportal.com keeps a track of it for you”, says Mr Dinesh Agarwal, Founder & CEO – IndiaMART.com.

IndianTendersPortal.com features

Indiantendersportal.com lists live tenders under various industry categories giving the inviting party name, EMD (Earnest Money Deposit), estimated cost, project location and due date for the tenders. In case you wish to get further details on listed/forthcoming tenders, subscribing to the Indiantendersportal.com services will enable you to view complete tender invitations from your chosen industries, locations or agencies, either online or through email.

Subscribing to the ‘Tenders on Web’ service will enable you to view full tender details. Whereas, by subscribing to the ‘Tenders-via-Email’ service you can receive the detailed tender notifications from your industry or locations of interest right in your mailbox. Both services can be availed on a paid subscription basis for a given period of time (quarterly or annual). Payment for subscription can be made online through credit card for immediate access to the service, or can be sent through demand draft offline.

Adding nearly 1,500 new tenders daily, the portal archives over 2,00,000 tender notifications broadly classified as Government, Corporate and Global Tenders and on basis of industries. The portal offers an easy online search facility on basis of various key parameters like product category, issuing organisation, project location etc., making it easy for browsers to trace a tender/category of tenders from the vast database. Important tenders are also archived for future reference.

“Our strategy has been to introduce newer interactive modes of B2B matchmaking at a comfortable pace for our member businesses. By launching online tender notification service, we have added yet another B2B matchmaking mode in addition to our online directories, catalogs, trade offers, auctions, discussion forums, industry portals etc. that are adding value for the SME segment online in particular”,adds Mr Agarwal.
