In the late 90s, Manisha Sharma’s husband, a national-level cue sports player at the time, set up a small workshop to manufacture billiards tables. She eventually took over operations and scaled the business into what it is today – a top-tier brand selling Billiards and Snooker Federation of India approved products to not just aspiring Indian athletes but to Nepal, Canada, Costa Rica, Uganda and many more. A team of 50+ employees, is now managing four manufacturing units and and two showrooms – all credis to Manisha Sharma’s undefeated will and passion.
Manisha’s dream to scale her business to multiple countries came true when she listed it on IndiaMART. It opened up the door to wider market access and increased customer enquiries by 40%. Today, more than half of her current business comes via IndiaMART, successfully building a national and international clientele.
