IndiaMART unveils Android App, mobile website

ICICI trinity,

Online B2B marketplace IndiaMART.com has launched its own mobile website, m.indiamart.com, and an Android mobile app that will be available for download from the Google Play Store.

While the mobile website can be accessed from all cell phones with internet access, the easy-to-use mobile app will function on all mobile devices having Android Version 1.5 or above installed. Users can connect to more than 1.2 million suppliers and 6.5 million buyers through this platform. There are also options of easily searching for suppliers in the preferred area and location. Users can send business enquiries and SMS directly from mobile phones by clicking on the displayed number.

The company feels that the launch of the mobile website and app was necessary in view of the rapid increase in the overall adoption of mobile internet and apps in recent times. This move may also boost business opportunities for small and medium enterprises, which avail IndiaMART’s services. As most buyers and suppliers in the country work on-the-go, this user-friendly interface will allow them to connect instantly and in a seamless manner.
