Equifit Technoart Fits Success

What is the parametre for growth? For some it is increase in profit, for others its expansion and yet for few its keeping customer’s happy. While it is no secret that a happy customer is a loyal one too which could spell success for a business, not many have been able to achieve this feat especially when a business starts to grow.

Meet Mr. Milind Dholakia, CEO, Equifit Technoart who has been able to follow the old adage of ‘Customer is King’ since its inception. “My name is Milind Dholakia and my company Equifit Technoart is into industrial lubricants. We are in this field for the past 19 years,” says Mr. Dholakia by way of introduction.

He adds, “When we started the manufacturing 19 years ago, we had 12 to 13 products and today we have more than 150 products which is used in various industries such as automobiles, sugar industry, paper, steel, petro-chemical & chemicals, dyes and textiles amongst others.”

Growth Strategy
Meeting a customer’s requirement is paramount to Equifit and so they provide what their clients require. “Because the product that we manufacture is crucial to our clients and because if we do not provide what they require, the production of that company will be stopped, we maintain high quality standards in our company. A Rs. 500 kg grease can stop the production of a 500 crore machine. And, this is a known fact amongst our clients too which is why we provide them with quality products and they know that we will never provide them products that will halt their production.”

Future Plans
“Our future plan is to start exports and are also planning to develop new products, develop import substitutes and lot of new industries are coming up for which we would like to understand trends and develop products for them,” says Mr. Dholakia. He adds, “Our name comes from ‘Equipment Fitness’ which forms Equifit. Our motto is to help industrial fitness and all our products have been designed according to the requirement. Our job is to keep industries fit and that is what we will do.”
