It was the dream of one man which became the passion of another. What remains common for the two men is not just the dream but family too. While the uncle Mr. H. D. Nayak conceived the idea and started the enterprise Aircon Handling System Pvt. Ltd. in 1979, the nephew Mr. Sudhakar Pai took over the reins in 1996 to steer the company to greater heights of success.
Rapid Strides to Growth
Backed by a rich experience in this field, Mr. Pai understands the industry well. “Earlier I worked in cement plants and put together I have a total experience of 32 years in this line.” He adds, “We are into design, manufacturing and supply of dust pollution control, material handling and pneumatic conveying systems. We have successfully executed many projects in India and abroad.”
“We are in this business since 1979. We have a modern infrastructure which is spread around 22000 sq. ft. area. Our workers specialise in cutting, bending and shearing. The total number of workforce that we have is 40 while we have 20 other staff members.”
Orders Unlimited
The precision with which products are manufactured, keeping in mind its
quality, have earned the company high number of orders. “We are into dust pollution control systems like bag filter, cyclones, material handling systems like belt conveyor, jumbo handling system etc. Recently, we received an order for 560 meters of pneumatic conveying systems and we are currently in its execution phase,” says Mr. Pai.
Three Decades of Legacy
Beginning the journey almost three decades ago, Mr. Pai became the owner of a company that had a strong foundation. He says, “The company was started in a small way by my uncle. I took over in 1995 and till recently, we were able to execute the project without any financial support. Our mission is to be a globally respected engineering company, providing high customer satisfaction by meeting their requirements to the tee.”
