Woman Entrepreneur Recognised at ET NOW-IndiaMART Leaders of Tomorrow Awards 2012

The proud recipient of ‘Woman Entrepreneur of the year’, Ms. Gupta received the Award from the Chief Guest Mr. Anand Sharma and Guest of Honour Mr. Sunil Bharti Mittal. Creating an identity in a society mostly ruled by men is not a mean feat. But, Ms. Gupta broke away from traditional beliefs with the support of her family and turned into a successful entrepreneur, changing the fortunes of her father’s business.

Having gained experience in organisations such as World Bank, the IMF and the Fund for the city of New Yor, Ms. Gupta joined her father’s business in 2008. Since her joining, MPIL has witnessed massive increase in its turnover. It has emerged as a leading manufacturer of complex steel structures, pre-engineered metal buildings, and fabricated solar panel mounting systems. The MPIL Group has diversified interests in steel, infrastructure, renewable energy, and logistics.
