Suryagarh wins ET NOW – IndiaMART ‘Leaders of Tomorrow’ award

Luxury boutique hotel Suryagarh in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan has been named ‘Leaders of Tomorrow’ under the travel and hospitality category by ET NOW – IndiaMART Awards 2012, held recently at Taj Palace hotel in New Delhi. The award was presented by Sunil Bharti Mittal, Chairman, Bharti Enterprises to Manvendra Singh Shekhawat, Managing Director, Suryagarh.

Financial firm, Ernst & Young had undertaken an exhaustive analysis to felicitate the best in all categories. The process began with selecting 30 SMEs in each of the 14 categories from 75,000 nominations based on their contribution to India’s GDP and the employment opportunities provided by the SMEs. The pre-jury shortlisted the top five in each of the categories and the final jury comprised prominent business personalities. The final judges included Sunita Reddy, Joint Managing Director, Apollo Hospitals and Arun Maira, Member, Planning Commission.

Shekhwat, said, “I am humbled yet proud to win this award.
