Amrapali wins the ET NOW IndiaMART Leaders of Tomorrow Awards

New Delhi : Continuing to remain in the news for all the sterling reasons, AMRAPALI, India’s most iconic jewelry brand bags the LEADERS OF TOMORROW AWARDS 2012 at the third edition of ET NOW-India MART Leaders of Tomorrow Awards 2012,held at The Taj Palace, New Delhi. On this prestigious occasion leading Jewelry brand Amrapali wins the award in the category of Textile, Apparels & Accessories.

India’s biggest SME Awards that herald entry from 75,000 small and medium enterprises in 14 categories, the award is validated by Ernst & Young and finally selected after two stringent jury sessions. Shri. Rajiv Arora, co-founder Amrapali received the award from H.E. the Hon’ble Union Minister of Commerce and Industry and textiles, Shri Anand Sharma and industry stalwart Sunil Bharti Mittal, Founder, Chairman and Group CEO, Bharti Enterprises.

The ET Now-India MART Leaders of Tomorrow Awards focus on manufacturing industries consisting of Textile, Apparels & Accessories, FMCG & Consumer Durables,Pharmaceuticals, Drugs and Medical Products, Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Food and Agro Products, Home Décor and Handicrafts, Engineering Products, Auto Components, Electrical & Electronics and services category comprising of Transport & Logistics, IT / ITES-BPO / VAS, Travel & Hospitality, Healthcare, Biotech and Hospital Services. It also accords special recognition awards consisting of Woman Entrepreneur of the Year and SME of the Year (selected by jury out of the 14 winners in each category).

Within this illustrious week, Amrapali also remained in the news on the red carpet. The brand made it to the headlines in the U.S when stunning actor Katy Perry wore one of the signature Amrapali neck piece on the red carpet at the celebration Of Carole King And Her Music To Benefit Paul Newman’s The Painted Turtle Camp at Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.An exquisitely set collar embellished with stunning uncut stones the rose cut diamond necklace in an art deco design truly lit up her celebrated persona.

Back home in Mumbai, the iconic ever-green star Mr. Amitabh Bachchan wore bejeweled brooches by Amrapali to his show Kaun Banega Crorepati.
