Venus Engineers on Fast Lane to Growth

Entrepreneurship beckoned Mr. Atul Mittal in 1998. Realising his true calling, the young man from the capital city Delhi set up a company named Venus Engineers (India). The idea was simple – to manufacture material handling equipment such as cranes, trolleys among others. He was fascinated with the wide range of industries these equipment could cater to. Today, the simple idea has grown into what is regarded as one of the largest manufacturers and suppliers of material handling equipment in North India.

The pride is evident in Mr. Mittal’s words when he says, “I am the owner of Venus Engineers which was established in 1998. We deal with the manufacturing of material handling equipments such as UT cranes, jib cranes etc.”

As soon as he stepped into the shoes of an entrepreneur, Mr. Mittal was faced with the challenge of getting the right people to work for him. “Prior to starting the business, we did not have any experience in the field. We, therefore, faced many problems in manufacturing good quality items within the stipulated time. We then recruited qualified and experienced engineers to overcome the problem of delivering as per our customer’s requirement.”

Having faced his fair share of challenges, Mr. Mittal was able to further widen his horizons and reach other parts of the world. “Our business is spread throughout India including neighbouring areas and Middle East,” says Mr. Mittal.

Venus Engineers is present online, offering its clients the opportunity to have an idea of the products and the business. Their online presence was made possible with the support of IndiaMART.com. “With the help of technology like internet we have been able to introduce ourselves globally. We came to know about IndiaMART.com through internet publicity. IndiaMART.com promoted our products online and helped us in expanding our business.”
