New Delhi, 9th November, 2011: When expert knowledge is brought to the doors of Indian Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), it leads to endless possibilities of growth, empowerment and success for them. This understanding has encouraged IndiaMART.com, India’s largest online B2B marketplace, to partner with ZEE Business, a renowned business news channel, for ‘IndiaMART Emerging Business Forum’ – a series of corporate events for SMEs to be held across 13 cities in India. The series ‘Indian SME Sector: The Next Big Leap’ intends to educate SMEs on how to approach and deal with various business functions as they grow from being small self run businesses into larger companies. The forum aims to cover a wide range of topics under Finance, Marketing, HR, Government Policies, Sales, Administration, ICT tools et al with a view to provide practical solutions to various problems and difficulties faced by Indian SMEs in these areas.
The series will kick start with its first event in Ahmedabad on 10th November, 2011, which will focus on ‘Driving Growth Through Innovation’ for SMEs.
Spearheading the new initiative for SMEs, Mr. Dinesh Agarwal, Founder & CEO, IndiaMART.com, said, “This alliance with ZEE Business is to prepare SMEs for their next level of growth. The first event will have eminent business personalities, policy advisors and subject experts as panelists who will delve on the subject and interact with over 200 SMEs expected to participate in the event.
The event will hit the grounds in 12 more cities including Ludhiana, Noida, Jaipur, Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Surat, Hyderabad, Agra and Kolkata, across India, each being shot and aired on ZEE Business as part of an exclusive show of 1 hour duration starting in December this year. This will enable the forum to extend its reach to a larger share of SMEs. The grand finale of this series is to be held in New Delhi which will be telecast on ZEE Business.
