IndiaMART.com Widens its National Network

  • Increases offices across the country to 55
  • Strengthens team of on-ground Internet Consultants to over 1000
  • Fortifies its leadership position in the online industry
  • Aims to connect with MSMEs residing in every corner of the country

New Delhi, 1 October, 2010: IndiaMART.com, India’s largest online B2B marketplace, is spreading its wings across the country with the number of its offices increasing to 55 from 31 in March this year. Further, the company’s team of Internet Consultants (feet-on-the-street) has crossed a mammoth figure of 1000. The total workforce at IndiaMART.com is now over 2400 employees. The scaled up pan-India presence and fortified team of professionals will cement the company’s leadership position in the market and help in creating a strong network for small scale enterprises in the country.

Elated with these significant developments, Mr. Dinesh Agarwal, Founder and CEO, IndiaMART.com, said, “Witnessing a rising trend of the MSMEs going online to scale up their businesses and seeing further potential, we have strengthened our presence and capabilities to better cater to them. In fact, our expansion in terms of reach and team is led by our strategy to forge closer ties with the MSMEs.”

Headquartered in Noida, the online B2B giant is fast cutting inroads into the MSME space and bringing a large base of these micro, small and medium scale enterprises into the mainstream through the use of the Internet. The expanded team of talented professionals across these 55 offices will further this objective and help provide convenient and personalized solutions to them.

Apart from these developments, IndiaMART.com has also recently introduced other initiatives such as ‘IndiaMART Leaders of Tomorrow Awards 2010’ to accord recognition to the MSMEs and nationwide awareness drive, through its ongoing Brand Campaign, to educate them about the online medium for business.
