Dinesh Chandra Agarwal

Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer

A leading internet entrepreneur, angel investor, and evangelist for SME issues, Dinesh Agarwal has sealed a reputation for himself as a resilient and dynamic strategist who has constantly evolved with the times. He is one of the rare Indians who survived the Dotcom Bust in 2000, the 9/11 incident, the slowdown in 2008, and the pandemic. As MD & CEO of IndiaMART, since the year 1996, Dinesh has been the chief driving force behind getting millions of SMEs online and expanding the marketplace to cover more than 1000 cities in the country. Known for his business acumen and an eye for detail, Dinesh has always understood the needs of Indian businesses and adapted the marketplace model from time to time to best suit their requirements.

Dinesh has led various revolutionary ideas to promote and help Indian SMEs worldwide and has raised voices on multiple concerns like GST, taxation, infrastructure, power, technology, etc. Dinesh is a prolific investor and has invested in a large number of start-ups. He is a Member of the Governing Council of Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) from 2015 till present. From 2017, he has also been actively associated with the Indus Entrepreneur (TiE) and serves on the Advisory Committee of Amity International Business School.

He studied at Maharaja Agrasen Vidyalaya Inter College, Lucknow and acquired his B.Tech engineering degree with a specialization in computer science from the Harcourt Butler Technological Institute, Kanpur. He has previously worked with Hindustan Management and Technical Services Private Limited, HCL America, Inc., HCL Limited, HCL Hewlett-Packard Limited, Centre for Development of Telematics (C-Dot) and CMC Limited.

Brijesh Kumar Agrawal

Whole-Time Director

Brijesh Agrawal, is a Whole-time Director of IndiaMART. He holds a master’s degree in management science from the University of Lucknow and a post-graduate diploma in business management from the Northern Institute for Integrated Learning in Management, New Delhi. He has experience in the field of Internet, networking, and systems development. Previously, he worked with H N Miebach Logistics India Private Limited.

Apart from his mission to help Small Businesses grow, his passion for education has led him to be a Founder Trustee of Plaksha University. He is also a charter member of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), a global network of entrepreneurs and professionals.

He was featured in Fortune India’s ‘40 under 40’ list of entrepreneurs in 2016 and in Siddharth Rao’s bestseller book “How I almost blew it” in 2019.

He is a charter member of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), a global network of entrepreneurs and professionals. He has been a Director on the Board since the incorporation of our Company. Brijesh was honored under Fortune 40 under 40 for the year 2016.

Dinesh Gulati

Chief Operating Officer

Dinesh Gulati is an established business leader who has played a pivotal role in transforming Telecom and online commerce in the country. His disruptive outlook and astute decision-making have also unlocked huge value for all the stakeholders. Dinesh holds an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi University, and B. Tech from HBTI Kanpur.

He has a strong track record of building brands from scratch and scaling them into full-blown profitable businesses in the fields of telecom, media, FMCG, and e-commerce. Prior to joining IndiaMART, he held leadership positions with leading brands like Bharti – Airtel, Reliance Communication, Kodak India Ltd, and The Indian Express Group.

Dinesh is also an expert speaker in various forums and is actively involved in investing and mentoring various startups in the tech space.

Jitin Diwan

Chief Financial Officer

Jitin Diwan, is a qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and also holds an academic degree in Bachelor of Commerce from Delhi University.

He has over ~17 years of experience in long term strategic planning and execution, business partnering, investor reporting and controllership. He has previously led Upstox Securities as Head of Finance (Vice President). He has also worked with various esteemed organizations in E-Commerce and Telecom domain such as Amazon India, Bharti Airtel Limited and Vodafone. He possesses the ability to streamline financial controls, processes and business operations that drives profitability and productivity.

Prateek Chandra

Chief Strategy Officer

Prateek holds a bachelor’s degree (honours) in commerce from the University of Delhi. He is a qualified chartered accountant and has extensive experience in the field of finance. Previously, he has worked with exl Service.com (I) Private Limited, Bharat S Raut & Co., Chartered Accountants, and HT Media Limited.

Amarinder Singh Dhaliwal

Chief Product Officer

Amarinder Dhaliwal is an adventurer and intrapreneur, passionate about building consumer stories at the confluence of product, technology, design, and marketing. He holds a graduate degree from IIT Delhi and a post-graduate degree in Management from IIM Ahmedabad.

Prior to IndiaMART, he has held several leadership roles and has been a part of the Times of India Group, Micromax, SBI Capital Markets, and Powergen Plc. He was the co-founder and CEO of DONE BY NONE, a founder business head for Zigwheels.com, and a business head for Indiatimes Shopping.com. He is also a keen fitness enthusiast, squash player, high-altitude trekker, and skier.

Nikhil S Prabhakar

Chief Information Officer

Nikhil Prabhakar is a seasoned strategic leader with over a decade of diverse experience in building businesses, developing and implementing product strategies, and driving productivity and operational efficiency. As the Chief Information Officer at IndiaMART, Nikhil oversees IT strategy, data management, and technological innovation.

Before joining IndiaMART, Nikhil held prominent leadership roles in various top-tier organizations such as Pristyn Care, Ola, Airtel, and Trident. He is also an accomplished entrepreneur, having founded Good Health Technologies, India's first Health & Insuretech platform for startups and SMBs, which is backed by Y Combinator (W20) and Elevation Capital.

Manoj Bhargava

Group General Counsel, Company Secretary & Compliance Officer

Manoj holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce (honours) and a bachelor’s degree in law from University of Delhi, and a master’s degree in law from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. He also holds a postgraduate diploma in intellectual property rights law from the Indian Law Institute and a postgraduate diploma in cyber laws from Amity Law School, New Delhi. He is also a qualified company secretary.

He has experience in legal and corporate secretarial functions. He has previously been associated with Capital Cars Private Limited, Integrated Databases India Limited (India Today group), Barista Coffee Company Limited, Varun Beverages Limited and HT Media Limited.
