Trend of Gifting increases during festive season in tier II cities as well | Dainik Bhaskar

The longstanding tradition of gifting among businesses rises to a peak during the festive season in India. It is not just urban businesses; the trend is now significantly picking up non-metro cities and states. At IndiaMART, we saw a high uptick in the state of Uttar Pradesh across four categories mainly a) Chocolates, Biscuits, Cookies, Desserts, b) Dry fruits, nuts, raisins and extracts, c) Fresh, dried, preserved and dehydrated fruits and d) Indian sweets, Mithai and Desserts. The bulk purchase requirements soared high during Jul-Oct 15, as that remains the key time for businesses to stock up their inventory and gear up to cater to Indian shoppers. Sellers dealing in these products received over 30,000 buying requirements and engaged with customers on more than 22,300 calls to fulfill their demand for the upcoming festivities.
With our commitment to ‘make doing business easy’, we continue to support the MSMEs and large enterprises associated with us, help them connect with their customers and prospects and contribute positively to the ongoing festive spirit.
