IndiaMART resounds for Make in India at the upcoming Grand Finale of Emerging Business Forum in New Delhi

Leading philanthropist, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev and MSME Minister, Kalraj Mishra to throw light on SME Entrepreneurship, among other prominent industry leaders

New Delhi, December 01, 2015:  After mobilizing the grand spirit of MSMEs across 12 cities and charting out ways to aid them in their entrepreneurial journey, IndiaMART is all set to bring the curtains down to its 5th season of Emerging Business Forum, at Hotel Pullman, Aerocity, New Delhi on Wednesday, December 02, 2015. Themed Make in India: The Ground Reality, the concluding EBF session will analyze the country’s existing business environment, eco-political situation, manufacturing and exports scenario existing at the ground level, and provide a crucial opportunity for the Small and Medium Businesses, to absorb the vital insights for taking the next big leap.

The congregation is set to be a hallmark platform, with highlights including a special address by MSME Minister, Kalraj Mishra, along with an illustrious session on what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur by the spiritual guru, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev. The Finale would also witness the expert panelists throw light on the importance of GST, ways for its fast implementation by the MSMEs, as well as share growth tips for the new age MSME entrepreneurs.

According to Dinesh Agarwal, Managing Director, IndiaMART, “As we approach the culmination of the grand forum this year, I wish to express gratitude to each and everyone who has helped us in our journey to enlighten SMEs. SMEs are the pivot on which the vision of Make in India rests. The visionary initiative promises to fast-track India’s growth trajectory in order to establish a global manufacturing hub. This in itself is an assurance to the SMEs of better times to come. As we traveled across India with the IndiaMART Emerging Business Forum to 12 different zones of India, our single most important mission was to urge MSMEs to take the ‘plunge for betterment’. Our journey is aimed at bringing together diverse stakeholders — bankers, government officials, tax experts, HR professionals, marketers – to derive workable solutions and lower barricades in the growth of SMEs.”

Dinesh adds, “IndiaMART is in sync with the Government’s Make in India vision. With the Emerging Business Forum, we endeavor to raise the bar as the SME enabler and ensure that emerging businesses get a friendly environment in terms of infrastructure, technology, and avant-garde manufacturing practices and processes.”

India’s recent 12-position jump in World Bank’s ranking on the Ease of Doing Business Index is a thumbs-up for the SMEs, as they are the largest entity in the overall business landscape. However, there is a dire need to help these small businesses grow in a competitive environment and be at par with their global counterparts.

The 5th edition of IndiaMART Emerging Business Forum’s Grand Finale in Delhi is preceded by its tremendous success in cities, including Faridabad, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Ludhiana, Surat, Vadodara, Bangalore, Indore, Pune and Mumbai. The business convention so far has not only brought the industry knowledge on a par with the trends but also garnered high expectations for the forthcoming event.
