Suryagarh wins ET NOW- IndiaMART Leaders of Tomorrow Award in the Travel and Hospitality category

New Delhi, December 19, 2011(STAT):-In a glittering ceremony at The Taj Palace hotel in New Delhi, Suryagarh, the luxury boutique hotel in Jaisalmer, was felicitated as the ‘Leaders of Tomorrow’ under the Travel and Hospitality category by the industry’sprestigious Economic Times – IndiaMART Awards 2012. The award was presented by Mr. Sunil Bharti Mittal, Chairman, Bharti Enterprises to Manvendra Singh Shekhawat, Managing Director, Suryagarh, after a series of stringent assessments. Having undergonerigorous procedures and being pitted against notable and strong contenders from the industry, Mr. Shekhawat emerged as the chosen winner. Instituted in the year 2010, the awards recognize the best entrepreneurial talents across the country.

To determine the deserving winners of the ET Now – IndiaMART Leaders of Tomorrow, India’s leading financial firm, Ernst & Young undertook an exhaustive analysis to felicitate the best in all categories. The process began with selecting 30 SMEs in each of the 14 categories from 75,000 nominations based on their contribution to India’s GDP and the employment opportunities provided by the SMEs. The pre-jury shortlisted the top 5 in each of the categories and the final jury which comprised of prominent business personalities after a pre jury and grand jury round, the top 5 were selected. The final judges included Ms. Sunita Reddy, Joint Managing Director, Apollo Hospitals andMr. Arun Maira, former Chairman, Boston Consulting Group, and currently Member, Planning Commission
