Amit Behl

Director, Intel Capital
Amit joined Intel Capital in 2006 and focuses on opportunities in Consumer Internet, Cloud Computing and Big Data. He has led Intel Capital’s investments in FINO (rural banking & financial products), ITZ Cash (prepaid cards), Vriti Infocom (education), Yatra (online travel), Policybazaar (online insurance) and KLG Systel (energy efficiency/smart grids). Prior to Intel Capital, Amit worked as Head, Business Planning – Mobile Data & VAS at Reliance Communications. Before Reliance, Amit worked as Manager – Private Equity Investments at ICICI Venture where he made investments in the Internet, IT, Media and Retail sectors. At ICICI Venture, Amit invested in InfoEdge (NSE:NAUKRI), Trinethra Super Markets (acquired by Aditya Birla Retail), Deccan Yellow Pages and (acquired by eBay). He was the Nominee Director on the boards of Infoedge and Deccan Yellow Pages and was an Observer on the board of Baazee. Amit is an engineering graduate from Mangalore University and a PGDM from IIM Calcutta. He is currently based in New Delhi.

Bhavani Rana

Partner, Amadeus Capital
Bhavani joined the Amadeus team as a Partner in 2015 and focuses on India and South East Asia. He is based in Bangalore, India. He began his career with Arthur Andersen and was previously an Investment Director at Intel, where he spent 14 years leading and managing over $170m of investments in 30 companies in India, the US, Europe and Brazil, many of which have had successful exits, including: PGP (acquired by Symantec); Airmagnet (acquired by Fluke networks); Clearwire (Nasdaq: CLWR); Click&buy (acquired by Deutsche Telekom); Movea (acquired by Invensense); Nipuna (acquired by Satyam); and Speakeasy (acquired by Best buy). Bhavani is a graduate from Sydenham College, University of Bombay, and is also a Chartered Accountant.

Ganesh Rengaswamy

Partner, Quona Capital
Ganesh Rengaswamy brings close to two decades of entrepreneurial experience in technology, investing and financial inclusion across India, Silicon Valley and Asia. An Indian by birth, Ganesh spent his formative years in Silicon Valley with Infosys and Visa, and started his investing career at Greylock Partners. Prior to Greylock, Ganesh co-founded, a leading travel e-commerce player in Asia acquired by Travelocity. Prior to Quona Capital, Ganesh co-managed Lok Capital and was Asia head for Unitus Inc., two of the most successful financial inclusion investors in India and Asia. Ganesh was also a founding advisor to Accion Venture Lab and Unitus Seed Fund (USF), and he serves on the investment committee of USF. Ganesh currently serves on the board of Tolexo and NeoGrowth and also serves as an investor / board observer for Shubham apart from IndiaMART. He has previously managed investments and partnerships with Bill Junction, Rural Shores, Vistaar, IFMR, Hippocampus and Ujjivan. Ganesh is an MBA from Harvard Business School and holds Masters and Engineering degrees from IIM Kolkata and IIT-Varanasi respectively. He lives in Bangalore with his parents, wife and daughter.

Rishit Desai

Associate, WestBridge Capital India Advisors Private Limited
Rishit-DesaiRishit Desai is an Associate at WestBridge Capital India Advisors Private Limited and has 6 years of public investing, private equity and investment banking investing experience in India. Before joining WestBridge, Rishit was an Associate at Bain Capital Private Equity’s Mumbai Office where he focused on growth-investing. Prior to that, he was with Macquarie Capital, where he advised clients on capital raising and mergers & acquisitions.

Rishit graduated from Wharton Business School with a major in Finance. At Wharton, Rishit interned at Temasek Holdings (Singapore) and Cartica Capital, an emerging markets hedge-fund based in Washington DC. Rishit has received BSE from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and has cleared Level III CFA.
